Chapter 19 An Explosion

• I stare at Gabby, trying to control the emotions that are swirling in me from seeing just how angry and hurt she is. What on earth actually happened all those years ago to make her react this way toward me? I didn’t know, but since we were on the topic maybe it was time to clear the air since she never gave me the chance to do that in the past.
• “First,” I say, trying to keep from touching her to comfort her. “Why don’t you tell me why you disappeared and cut me out of your life?”
