Chapter 29 Endless Sickness

  • Red strands embraced me with warmth and her soft whispers of comfort. Beneath me lay the coldness of the grass and dew. I inhaled the fresh, cool air along with her sweet scent. The fog wasn’t enough to block my view of her sympathetic look. Her pale, porcelain skin contrasted her blood red hair.  
  • “You won’t remember a thing once you wake up, my dear sister,” Her murmurs were like soft howls of the wind, breathy and mellow so different from her personality.  
  • My legs shivered at the wet ground, “Why are you helping me? I have committed a sin, Fallon.” I paused, suddenly out of air.
