Chapter 39 Smoke and Fire

• I saw two men dragging Rosamund by her arms. There were six of them in this narrow alley. The fact that these vampires dare to even touch Rose made my blood boil instantly.  
• “Rosamund!” I called, struggling to wiggle my arms from this man’s grip. There were two men with me. The other man was busy tailing us, a cigar placed between his fingers; he looked younger than his friends. He was a look out, watching people who pass the alley making sure no one dares to walk in.  
• “Quiet!” The stranger exclaimed, extremely pissed.
