Chapter 35 The Music Room

• Being with Cassius wasn’t as awkward as I imagined. He has told me about my past self and to know that we’ve been together for years, I just couldn’t get a grasp of it. It seems so unreal. I mean together with a vampire prince, really?  
• Maybe that is why I feel the most comfortable around him. He is actually very caring and warm, and also fun to be around with. It made me think that there are some vampires who are capable of being good and sincere, not the deceiving kind like the ones I treated like my friends.   
• “Lilana,” I called her, wrapping the robe around my body. Droplets of water were running down from the tips of my red strands. The steamy water was just perfect for my cold skin. Now that I am reborn as a vampire, I felt a little weird because of my body and how I feel about some things. My skin is ice cold and mostly I sleep during daylight while I feed all night; I find myself having a difficulty sleeping at night. I can be impatient and sometimes I can't control my cravings.
