Chapter 26 Lost Book

• The castle appeared to be quieter without Gideon around. I just found out that Sage is no longer available since he had been busy with tending to his sick mother. I was left with the three silent ones so here I am in my room, lying in bed. So much for not being dead yet. This feels like torture!   
• I’m here on the bed lying while staring at the ceiling, wondering who the hell that elderly woman was. I felt it; the rage in me was just uncontrollable. Seeing her being tortured and burned made me livid. I may not remember exactly what happened but I remember the emotions I felt. The worst part was I could not even do anything to save her.   
• I got up from my bed when I heard a knock. Only half of my body is covered in duvet. I leaned back onto the headboard and continued reading a book of poems.
