• Two hours later, after taking a good bath and resting for a while, Mía and Meghan went to Patrick's room; by mutual agreement, they had decided it would be the meeting point. The reasons were simple; he had the biggest TV and the biggest bed; they could all fit without problems. Patrick had no problem accepting; since the conversation with Meghan, he had realized that his refusal had been for the best. His healing was still a process, but with each passing day, his thoughts were moving away from Astrid and making him more and more aware of Meghan's presence.
• He had to heal to offer it; it was such a big truth. Fortunately, Meghan was a smart woman and had made him see it without making him feel guilty for wanting to forget his old love.
