• Daisy leaned back against the wall, her heart racing and her throat dry. She had told him, somehow she had hinted to Paul her interest in him... She was supposed to feel nothing but resentment and annoyance towards Paul for what he did to Meghan, but knowing it and seeing him hurt had hurt her so much that buried feelings had resurfaced.
