• "It's been quite a surprise to have you here tonight, Pat," Fabio said, turning to formally greet Patrick as the fashion show had already begun when he arrived. "You should have let us know so we could be on the lookout for your arrival," he added in a friendly tone. They had known each other their whole lives, their parents were friends.
• "It was a last-minute decision, I also wanted to surprise Astrid," Patrick replied."
