Chapter 104

• He went to the bathroom, took some towels and a bucket of warm water. He returned to the room and approached the bed. Carefully, he cleaned Meghan's face, neck, and arms.
• He undressed her and put one of his robes on her, rearranged her between the sheets, and only then did he step away to take a shower. When he was ready, ten minutes later, he got into bed next to Meghan and watched over her sleep.
