Chapter 33

• Patrick stormed into his room, furious with himself and his actions. He had no right to do that to Meghan. His conscience punished him harshly and he couldn't calm down. He sat on the edge of the bed, ignoring the burning sensation on his skin, and ran his hand through his hair in frustration.
• "What am I doing?" he asked himself, falling back onto the bed. "How will I be able to look Meghan in the eye after what I did?"
• Patrick had no answers. He knew he not only had to see her, but also apologize properly for his audacity; however, he had to admit that he couldn't find the courage to do so. She looked confused and scared.
