Nate’s POV
I slammed the door of my car shut and drove out of the apartment premises instantly, talking with Elena had ended up taking a good part of my time when I least expected it, and I was sure that Jacob was probably wondering why I wasn’t where we’ve agree to meet yet. I started to fail his number as I controlled the steering wheel with one hand, and I placed the phone against my ear and hoped he’d pick up as I continued to drive as I tried to overtake a few vehicles that were moving way too slowly for my liking. He answered the call just when I had been about to groan a little at the thought thst he wasn’t going to answer the call because he thought I was bailing out at the last moment.
“Yo Jacobs, where are you?” I asked and he remained dinner for a few moments before letting out a small scoff, and a question followed suit almost instantly.
