Jack’s POV
My mouth fell open in shock as soon as I got informed by my dad that Nate had pulled out of the marriage and said he wasn’t getting married to Marie any longer. My mouth was still hanging open and it took long moments for me to finally snap it close as I watched my father caress his forehead with his fingers as he breathed out a small sigh. I was still sitting in the chair before him, when he had invited me in here a couple of minutes ago, I had been expecting him to talk to me about something else, and not this, I didn’t see it coming in any way.
A lot of emotions flowed through my body as I still stared at, absorbing all that he had jist said.
