Chapter 165

• Nate’s POV
• Jack’s cologne’s scent was strong in the air flying around my head, and not strung in an overwhelming way, but strung in a very intoxicating way that was making it harder for me to concentrate on all what he had been saying for a while now.
• It’s been over twenty minutes since I arrived here in his office, and most definitely over sixteen minutes since he began to speak. I had only managed to input a few things here and there, the rest had just been me nodding my head along with all that he had been saying. He was holding a MacBook and pointing towards the screen as he spoke and I glued my eyes on the screen, even though I wasn’t really registering what it was that was right before me, all because of my mind was completely on something else entirely, that that particular thing was nothing but still the body sitting really close to me on the couch.
