Nate’s POV
“I’m gay. I’m not attracted to women at all, I’m not bisexual, I’m completely into guys, I love boys, which automatically makes me gay.”
As soon as those words left my mouth, my heart started to hammer ahsinst my ribs really sharply. The room was eerily silent, save for the roaring sound which was echoing in my ears over and over again. Jack was sitting on the same couch as I was, but there was a little bit of a gap between us. I wanted to reach out and grasp his hand in mine, but it felt like something was holding me back physically, and also because of my father’s presence. As soon as those words had left my mouth, I had refused to glance into his direction, because I was afraid of what I might see on his face.
