Chapter 100

• Nate’s POV
• I handed my keys to the security guys and steered to make my way into the company’s first floor in which I’d use in getting into the elevator. I didn’t meet anyone familiar in it which I was glad about, but everyone here at the company knew eno I was because they instantly created some space for me and treated me with visible respect. They all got down from the elevator on different floors leaving me to myself as I arrived at the last floor of the company, and I made my way straight to my dad’s office. I paused outside his office and dragged in a deep breath into my lungs, puffing it out really slowly and silently hoping nothing goes wrong between my dad and I today, and that I wouldn’t have to do a thing to my cousin as well, before finally knocking on the door and hearing a quiet ‘come in’ and I did instantly, pushing the door close behind me.
• As expected, Eric was already here with my father, and he was sitting in the same position he sat in last night.
