• Nate’s POV
• “Where are you?” I said into the phone as I slowly sat up from the bed, and almost immediately after I had spoken, I started to feel a yawn build in my chest and I quickly lifted my hand up to stifle it against my lips. I had managed to fall into a deep sleep for over four hours and might not have woken up at this very moment if my phone hadn’t started to ring, and I was glad it did ring, seeing who it was thst I was now currently speaking with.
• “I just got off my shift and I’m changing out of the office’s uniform, and I just called to ask you if what we already planned is still on or if you’ve changed you mind?” Jacob continued to speak after a couple of moment and I dragged my hand over my face really slowly as I blinked a couple of times, while his question echo over and over again in my head.
