Chapter 9

• Fiona was back at home with her stepmom and father. She had no idea what the doctor said to them and had no intention of allowing them to say it. She limped to her attic, closing the door tiredly before springing to the bed. She has stressed out already, the pain adding to her tiredness. She closed her eyes, lifting her hand to draw the blanket to herself. She had just covered her body when the door opened and an ear-piercing voice followed.
• “Useless girl! What do you think you are?!” Her stepmom shouted from the door.
• “You’re fired.”,Fallon said to the tenth person.
