- “Kpa.” a sound echoed through the room.
- Fiona fell to the floor immediately, her hands on her cheek. Her father has just slapped her, calling attention to them in the hospital. Her stepmother has been rushed here and was in critical condition because she has lost too much blood and the pain she was feeling was so much.
- “How dare you wound her! How dare you touch her!” her father yelled, kicking her in the stomach.
