Chapter 4

  • Fallon woke up to a dull pain underlying the numbness in her right hand. She fluttered her eyebrows, opening her eyes to meet a room with no streak of light. She shut her eyes tightly, a numb pain striking her head.
  • “Oww.” she said as she tried to sit up.
  • The lights went on at the sound of her voice. She shut it quickly, fluttering it to regulate the amount of light.
  • “Our princess is awake.” she heard someone say.
  • She turned to meet the same doctor that was in the hospital, cross-legged on a chair, playing with a pen.
  • “Who the hell are you?” she asked wide eyed.
  • The man curved his lips upward making Fallon's heart skip a beat.
  • “What do you want from me?” she asked.
  • The man stood up from his seat, walking towards Fallon. She widened her eyes at this, shifting to the back of the bed. She glanced around, trying to find anything that she could use to protect herself. She came in contact with scissors on the table.
  • “I’ll stab you if you come near me. You can try me.” she said with her widened eyes, pointing it at him.
  • This made the man's smile grow wider. He continued to walk towards her slowly.
  • “I like your spirit,” he whispered to her.
  • Fallon's heartbeat was racing. No, not again. She could not do this again, go through the pain again. She hastily knelt on the bed, waving the scissors at him.
  • “I'm warning you. I'll stab you if you come near me.” she said again.
  • A chuckle escaped from the man's lip.
  • “What if I want you to stab me? I want you to show me how to stab someone.” the man said, taking his seat at the edge of the bed.
  • Fallon shook her head slowly. He was tempting her and she was sure if he raised his hand to touch her, she would stab him. She clenched her jaw, maintaining eye contact with him.
  • “Tell me who you are.” the man said to her.
  • “How about you tell me who you are? Kidnapping me from my office and taking me to an unknown hospital? Knocking me out of consciousness?” Fallon stated.
  • The man smiled at her,  glancing through the room as if he was looking for something. Fallon's eyes that were monitoring him followed his eyes around the room, noticing it was already a different place from the hospital. She climbed down from the bed quickly, sneaking to the man's back and taking his head around her hand. She put the scissors below his neck.
  • “Tell me, who are you?” she whispered in his ears.
  • The man scoffed, not making a move to remove her hand.
  • “I didn't expect your voice near me to be a turn-on to me.”the man said grinning.
  • “The only feeling I can have for you is disgust, if that is a feeling. Tell me, before I cut your head off. Who the hell are you!” she shouted at him.
  • The man noticed how serious she was and stopped grinning like a fool to her. With a hand, he threw her over his shoulders, falling her back to the bed. He leaned to her, hearing her rapid heartbeats.
  • “Let's just say I'm your savior. But as the so-called empress, you have no idea what you are into,” he whispered into her ears.
  • Fallon was now scared on the onside, but she has to be strong. She slapped his head away from her ear, standing up from the bed.
  • “You expect me to believe you are my saviour? Then tell me, how did you save me, Mr saviour” Fallon replied sarcastically.
  • She could have sworn that he was going to smile or grin again. And before he could say anything, a grin already made its way to his face.
  • “Could you stop grinning? It has no fitting on your face.” Fallon said, rolling her eyes.
  • “Only for you empress.” the man replied.
  • Fallon eyes went back to him immediately, her murderous intent returning to her face.
  • “You know who I am?” she said.
  • “Yes of course. Who..” the man started but was cut off.
  • “I'll kill you.” Fallon said to him.
  • “And why is that, your highness?” he said, doing a courtesy.
  • Within a second, Fallon was already beside him, his neck again under her arms. A grin made its way to the man's face again.
  • “If I didn't know better, I would think you are obsessed with my neck.” the man said.
  • This made Fallon more furious. Can't he just keep quiet?
  • “If you say anything one more time, I'll snap your neck into two.” she threatened.
  • “Now tell me, who the fuck are you?” she asked.
  • She twisted his neck to the side, making him have difficulties in breathing. He looked up at her grinning and gasping for breath.
  • “If you don't tell me who you are in the next five seconds, I promise you i'll kill you, and no traces to your body would be found.” she threatened.
  • She twisted it more, making him whine a little. She knew it was hurting him and he might talk. And she knew he was just not fighting back.
  • “S..s..st..stop.” he stuttered.
  • “Then tell me, who are you?”
  • He looked up at Fallon, his grin wiped away from his face.
  • “It's such a disappointment that the empress doesn't know about me,” he said.
  • Fallon raised her eyebrow, staring at him closely.
  • “Am I supposed to know a murderer like you?” she asked.
  • “I’m your saviour,” he replied, staring closely at her.
  • Fallon widened her eyes as she let the image of him sink into her brain. The force around his neck loosened, giving him a way to escape from her grasp.
  • “No..no..it..can't..be..you..are..n..ot..al..alive..it..can't be '' she stuttered, holding her hand tightly.
  • The man raised his eyebrow, what was wrong with her? He did not even touch her and she was like this. Did he scare her? All this thoughts were running in his mind.
  • “Is everything wrong empress?” the man said, walking towards her.
  • Fallon looked up, her palm pointing to him.
  • “Don't come near me…i said..don't come near me. You are not supposed to be here.” she said, her eyes watery.
  • The man was now confused. What does she mean he is not supposed to be here? He moved closer to her, holding her hand carefully and drawing her closer.
  • “It's fine. It's okay. I'm just someone that helped you. I don't mean no harm to you.” he said reassuringly.
  • Fallon moved to him also, hugging him unexpectedly. The man raised his eyebrow, what was wrong with her that could make her act like this? He moved his hand to hug her back when he felt something pressing against his pelvic region.
  • “If you don't stay calm and tell me who you are, I'll cut it off without thinking twice.” he heard a low, dangerous voice in his ears.
  • It sent shivers down his spine. The scissor was close to his small daddy and he was sure from her tone, she would not hesitate to cut it off.
  • “Calm down, empress. Let's not do something we would regret later.” he whispered in his ears.
  • He could feel the scissors enter the material of his cloth. It was now touching his boxers. He gasped aloud, trying to turn his head to look at the empress.
  • “Don't even try it. I would cut it. You know how sharp this scissors is right.” she said to him.
  • He swallowed quietly, looking straight ahead. He could move from her but he was still going to get hurt.
  • “Three...two..” he heard her count.
  • “At the count of one and you are still dumb. Then you should say goodbye to your little thing.” she said.
  • “My name is Chris Williams. I helped you. I did not mean to hurt you.” he rambled out.
  • ••••••••
  • Fiona was rushed to the hospital by her family. It took a lot of time before they found out she had slumped in the room. They got to the hospital and we're lucky as said by the doctor because any moment from then on and she was dead.
  • “Why couldn't she just die?” her stepmother said aloud.
  • Fiona was half conscious and half unconscious. She could hear her stepmom partly, making her freeze at the statement she said.
  • “You both know we still need her?” she heard her father say.
  • She heard the door open, a nurse speaking after.
  • “The doctor asks you to see him immediately. It's urgent.” she heard the nurse say.
  • He moved his eyeballs to be able to see her.
  • “I swear to God, I'm going to cut your head off if you don't tell me who you are.” Fallon threatened again.
  • She moved the scissors near his throat, almost cutting him. The man moved his hand to stop it, Fallon cutting him with it.
  • “Ouch.” he shrieked.
  • He brought his hand to see blood rushing from it. He put it in his mouth, licking it slowly and still maintaining eye contact with Fallon.
  • “You disgust me,” Fallon said, scrunching her face.
  • The man curved his lips. He was enjoying this.
  • “You know what,  I think you like me, you have the opportunity to leave but you are still here, straddling me under your arms but no offence taken, the feeling is mutual.” he replied.
  • Fallon spat on his head, realizing what he said is true. But she needed to teach him a lesson.
