Chapter 6 Chapter Six

• They had taken the music world by storm two years ago. I had not been able to see them in concert but everyone that I knew that had gone to one of their concerts had said it was the best concert they had ever seen. Most of our pack members had seen them and they said that whoever the two women are they were definitely some sort of supernatural, but they could not catch a scent from either of them. Which is strange since every supernatural has a scent. I returned to work when I really wanted to walk over to Mykayla’s office and talk with her. I did just that when I was ready to meet Kaleb and Nash at our favorite restaurant for lunch. I knocked on the open door. I smirked when she jumped a little. I hadn’t meant to scare her, but she was lost in her work and did not know I was there until I knocked.
• “I am headed to a lunch meeting. I did not mean to scare you, but you seemed lost in your work, and I did not want you to go without eating.” I told her.
• “Thank you. I did not realize it was lunch time.” she replied.
