Chapter 26 First Day Of School 2

• I felt sorry for Devon. I knew this first week of school was going to be tough on him, but he has done amazingly. We already have a routine down, but I can tell he is still adjusting to having two teenage girls in the pack house. Yes, he has his ounger sister, but she does not live with us. I swear I told him that I had set the alarm for six the night before, but it is possible I forgot. We were also still trying to catch up on sleep from the concert the night before. I had decided I would not say anything, but when he barged into Braeynia's room because he thought someone was hurting them was adorable and sweet, even if it was a tad on the dramatic side. I was horrified that he was in his boxer shorts, but I guess I should be grateful for that. He normally sleeps naked which I found weird. Devon explained that shifters in general ran warmer than humans which made sense. Braeynia and Danique went red as tomatoes when he barged into the room. It's Friday night, thank God, this had been a long week. We are all sitting outside by the pool as the kids play. I am hoping they burn off some of their energy before bed. We had been out there for about an hour when the first howl was heard. I looked up to see Devon, Kaleb and Nash walking towards us. Another howl was heard as I stood up. I knew something was wrong. I may not have a wolf, but I know the different howls and what they might mean. Devon looked pissed as he stood in front of me.
