After locking the door to my room, I fell back against it. I wiped my hand down my face as I sank to the floor. I was still trying to process that my mate was not just a rock star but a goddess. Hell, she was the daughter of our moon goddess. I have no fucking idea why her mother would pair us together. Devon is right there is a reason, but I cannot seem to figure out that reason. Kaeylani, she was everything I had hoped for, but I still felt like I was not worthy of her. I my head fall against the door again as I ran the whole meeting through my mind. I was not sure I had not dreamed the whole damn thing.
