Chapter 25 First Day Of School

• I was not ready for this. Okay, so I knew that today was the first day of school, but after the concert I guess I slightly forgot. I felt like I was fucking hungover, which for a shifter is damn near impossible. I knew it meant I was exhausted, but damn. I damn near fell out of bed when my alarm went off at six this morning. I thought it was broken as I grabbed it. I rolled over with a groan slamming down on the damn table. We would have get a new one which I knew Mykayla was not going to be happy about. I reached for Mykayla to pull her against me, but all I found was cold sheets. I cracked open one of my eyes to see if I could see her, but she was nowhere. I did not hear her in our bathroom. I rolled over planning to go back to sleep when I heard screaming. I jumped out of bed throwing open the door as I ran down the hallway. I threw open the door to Braeynia's room to find all three of them in there. Mykayla was sitting on the bed as the other two were jumping around. They had on their school uniforms and looked ready to go. Braeynia and Danique's faces turned red while Mykayla pinched the bridge of her nose. They stopped to stare at me as I let out a groan before turning around to head back to our room. It was to fucking early for this shit. I closed the door behind me before falling face first back onto our bed. I heard the door open, but I refused to move. Domnik was curled up in a dark corner of our shared head space grumbling about being awake this damn early. I would normally call him dramatic, but I felt the same damn way right now. He let out a grumble at me as I pressed my face into the bed. "Was there a specific reason you barged into the room in just your boxer shorts and are you always this dramatic?" she asks, laughing. "I woke up alone which was not appreciated by the way. I had turned over to go back to sleep when I heard them screaming. I thought someone was hurting them." I mumbled, even if I was still face down on the bed.
