Chapter 9

• ~ Asteria (POV) ~
• My heart shattered into pieces as I saw Damen with another girl, her hand was wrapped around his arm and the touch she gave him made me hurt both physically and mentally. He’s my mate and if another girl touches him it just simply hurts me. I looked at Damen and I failed to hide the pain in my heart, does he like that woman? I’ve never seen her here before, maybe Damen finds her attractive and suitable to be our future Luna. I was just a failure to him as he mentioned before.
• If this can make him happy it’s okay, I’ll just stay away from him. I don’t want to cause trouble for them if they are going to be together. I looked at Damen who was already looking at me and I just simply smiled at him before going upstairs wanting to get rid of my thoughts and read a book.
