• ~ Asteria (POV) ~
• I watched Damen leave and as soon as he left the room, tears welled in my eyes. It hurts, it really hurts to see him smile like that. But I can’t anymore, I don’t hate him but I can’t get hurt anymore. After losing the child, I’m just not strong enough to bear another pain.
• Raising my hands I slowly touched the earrings he wore me, it was really gorgeous. I will always keep this to remember him and I don’t think I would ever be able to forget him in this life. I turned my head and stared out of the window.
