Chapter 47

• I uttered but Asteria didn’t turn her face to look at me. I don’t know but she was never like this, she never looked away from me like this. I watched her for a while and got up.
• “I marked you, I’m sorry for everything. I.. I just didn’t know you were pregnant. I’m sorry Asteria” I spoke but yet she was looking away from me. I was just fucking helpless.
• “Asteria…” I heard her father’s voice as he barged into the room. Then Asteria turned her face and looked at him with a tear filled face. Her eyes never fell on mine and that hurt me but I knew it was because of my own actions.
