• ~ Asteria (POV) ~
• “You can’t be with him, he’s just a soldier. How can you fall in love with him?” I was grabbed by a woman who was wearing noble clothes as she shouted at me. Tears filled in my eyes because of what she just said. She was my mother but why hurt me?
• “He’s not just a soldier, mother.. He’s a warrior and he won three battles at once” I shouted back at her. Soon after a ruthless slap landed on my right cheek. I looked at my mother who was looking at me with tear filled eyes.
