Chapter 30 The Magical Sensation

Alessia was already bored of sitting down in the room being idle so she decided to come out from the room. She got out of the bed, walking towards the door, she slowly opened the door and walked out of the room to the long hallway leading to two different staircases. There was no one in sight so she wondered if Marcus was actually living alone.
She began peering at each door in the corridor hoping to find something about Marcus but it just appeared that the corridor was filled with huge portraits of men and women. Each portrait had a couple in it and she wondered who these people were to Marcus and why he had such paintings hanging on the walls of his house, none of them were any great celebrities that she could remember. Could they possibly be his ancestors?
She had no idea who they were to him so she continued to wander round the long hallways.
