Chapter 20 Embracing Her

• Zelda laid on the couch with a blanket over her body, her eyes glued on the television as she chewed on her popcorn. She wasn't feeling sleepy and decided to watch some Netflix series and it helped a lot. Because she almost started thinking about the past, about that particular man that jilted her. She had trusted him, loved him, given him her whole but what did he do? He left her because he got a better job and said he needed a better woman to go with that job.
• Halfway through the series she was watching, Zelda laughed at something funny, but her laughter was interrupted by the doorbell, which made Zelda jump at the sudden and unexpected noise.
• She hesitated before she stood up from the couch, holding her phone. Who could be at the door at this time of the night?! Zelda thought to herself as she warily walked over to the front door.
