Chapter 10 So Much Has Changed

In the midst of her morning haze, Alessia's eyes fluttered open, two thoughts struck her.
Firstly, She accepted her mother's proposal to come spend the weekend with her. And secondly, she was going to her mother's house today and she doesn't know what awaits her.
She ran a lazy hand through her messy hair, as she stood up from her bed and robotically began grabbing the things she was going to take to the cottage as she began placing them into her suitcase.
