Chapter 18 The Blood Curse

• Flashback…
• The day everything changed was when Kane stopped at the town's motel, hoping to get some sleep before he met up with his friends. He walked into his room, but as soon as he did he sensed someone else was there too. He listened carefully and heard the heartbeat of another and started walking in the direction he sensed it was coming from. He opened the door to the bathroom to find the girl he once saved, Saira, placing a small box and note near the head of the bathtub. He grabbed her arm and spun her around to face him, furious that she was still stalking him.
• " WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING HERE?! I TOLD YOU TO LEAVE ME ALONE!!" Kane shouted, but Saira just giggled, like this was all just one big game.
