Chapter 7

• After the second stint of nursing work experience, Abigail dropped out of the Auxiliary Nurse programme quoting that she was "not cut out for that kind of job", and that "the work environment did not suit" her. Whilst her father was disappointed for her that it hadn't worked out, he didn't question her too much about it.
• He had however noticed that she grew tense and evasive whenever they talked about work, thinking that she was a little stressed about dropping out and worried about where to apply herself next. He decided to deal with one thing at a time.
• "You look stressed, Abigail" he finally told her over breakfast one morning. She took some time to admit that actually she was a little tense at the moment, but didn't say why.
