Chapter 144

• Abigail was a little taken aback by this turn of events, losing her friend, her guide and her main translator all in one go. After saying goodbye to their families, Lindsey and Maki called her over. Maki gave her a huge hug, squashing her curvy body against himself and thanking her warmly for coming all the way to support them. Lindsey also embraced Abigail warmly. Lindsey tearfully gushed her thanks.
• "I'm so grateful you could come all the way out here and do this thing for us today, Abby. It means the world for Maki and his family to keep up the traditions of his village. I'm just so sorry we have to leave you so early to catch our flight to Fiji tomorrow. Maki's uncle will take care of you. All your return bus, train and flight tickets are all at his house with instructions written by me. Enjoy the rest of the evening. Take care Baby!"
• Abigail was quite tearful as well to see her best friend so happy, and was proud to have played her own part, especially if it meant that Lindsey and Maki could now leave to enjoy their honeymoon together.
