• "This is the tricky bit" he thought. "She might feel this strap resting over her wrist unless I distract her somehow." As he laid the strap softly over her wrist, he squeezed shoulder muscle reasonably hard with his other hand, ensuring she was distracted and didn't notice the soft padded leather resting over her wrist.
