Chapter 23 Hostility

• As the news finally spread, even at such a very late juncture, people started noticing her and giving her attention. When she goes to his office, she would meet many people on the way, greeting her. She was surprised to be addressed as Mrs. Wayne Anderson.
• “What’s wrong?” He asked as he noticed her somewhat confused and dazed expression as soon as she came in.
• She gestured towards the door as she walked to him. “People are greeting me as Mrs. Anderson. Did you make an announcement or something?” She sounded a little amused.
