Chapter 53

• I could not help but peek at Athena's phone. She is constantly receiving a notification from someone on her phone, and I am starting to get curious about who that could be.
• She checked the message on her phone but she didn't bother to reply. I even caught her rolling her eyes as if she was getting sick of whoever it was.
• I cleared my throat and cast a castigating look at her, "What?" she asked me with an innocent smile on her lips and half-smiling. I take a sip on my smoothie and glance at her phone again which she left on top of the table.
