Chapter 13

• "I'm done," she stuttered with her soft, low, and weak voice. Ender slowly brings himself to face her. Their eyes met. Still, nothingness lies on it. Upon receiving the news of her parent's death, the remaining spark of hope and happiness that she's trying to hold onto dies, and so does she.
• Ender pulls the comforter and helps Ibixa get in there casually, tucking her after. Just when he thought that she'd lie on it and fall asleep again like what she had always done for the past months, Ibixa remained sitting on it. Her back is on the board of the bed, and her head is resting on her knees while hugging them.
• Her never-ending sadness that she just can't put into words easily formed as tears in her eyes. It fell like how her little world fell too.
