Chapter 88 My Body As An Apology

• I made dinner for him for the first time. After parting at his office, I knew I had to do something to ease his anger after accusing him of something he didn't do. After the simple meal, I ate mine before I left to prepare for what I had planned for him.
• I left work earlier than usual, just so I could do this. Even though the rational part of me had been trying to talk me out of it, I couldn't stop, not when I knew it was what I had to do.
• I had a bath first. I decided to use the shower, and instead of warm water like I was used to, I opted for a hot one. It wasn't that scalding, but it was beyond warm. I wanted it that way because I wanted to feel the heat sink into my bones, and for the sting to remind me of why I was doing this.
