Chapter 111 Terrified

• I couldn't even tell how I got to the hospital without crashing my car. My hands shook badly as I drove, and my lips trembled in fear. I occasionally glanced at my phone, waiting for another call. She had said Kielan was doing okay. However, what she had said after it scared me more than anything. What could be wrong with me?
• Am I sick? Is it as deadly as what's wrong with Kielan? Would both of us be bedridden? Who would take care of us then? What would happen to his business and mine? Who would supervise all? That, and many things, were on my mind, glued and refusing to let go.
• I was freaking scared out of my damned mind.
