Chapter 27 How Did It All Go Wrong?

• I didn't think she would disobey. Where did I go wrong with her? I'd thought last night broke her enough to know she couldn't defy me, but it seemed I was wrong. There had been a thrill with chasing her though, but now, I decided, she needs to learn her lesson. She needs to learn to always crawl to me whenever I call. Okay, not always. I loved her defiance more, but hoped she wouldn't do that all the freaking damned time.
• Gulping, she looked up at me, eyes wide, and lips trembling. I liked that. The deviant look was still in her eyes, but more so was that fear. She's scared.
