Chapter 30 Enjoy The Night

• I worked like a robot all day, startling each time my phone rang. I didn't know what Kielan was up to, and I didn't intend to find out what it was. The devil was properly waiting for the right time to show those fangs of his, and I couldn't even tell when that might be. What if he shows up tonight, and then I do something to annoy him, and then he shows his true colours?!
• Shivers raced through me once more when I heard a beep on my phone. With shaky hands, I reached for it, confident, this time that it was from him.
