She stared at the door, her thoughts swirling, when suddenly the door creaked open, and Ethan and Ava stepped into the room.
• Ethan, his face a mixture of concern and hesitation, approached Nyssa cautiously. "Captain... what do you think he was doing here? And in that position?" His voice was careful, but his worry was clear. "We know he's dangerous, and we want to protect you. You shouldn’t be handling him alone."
