Chapter 24 The Enemy

• Nyssa and Alex arrived at the edge of Kalus’s city, their faces set with determination. The sky was an ominous gray, and the buildings loomed like silent sentinels. The air was thick with tension as they prepared to dive into the heart of enemy territory. Alex, resolute, glanced at Nyssa. “We’re in this together. I won’t let Kalus lay a finger on you.”
