• The night would have been beautiful if it weren’t for the demons surrounding me, this intense fear of not knowing if Jeremy truly loved me or if he was just playing with me, wanting something fleeting. Because I simply didn’t understand—if he loved me as much as he claimed, he wouldn’t, under any circumstances, be committing to another woman.
