Chapter 88 A Hybrid

• When morning finally came, Via had dark eye bags and couldn't stand on her two feet without slouching. She could go without sleep, of course, but she'd gotten so used to the routine. Coupled with the added turbulent emotions from last night, she was feeling overwhelmed.
• When Jess had asked why she looked like a zombie, she'd made up an excuse about never sleeping away from home before. Jess had believed it—her friend was never really the smartest of the bunch.
• Breakfast with the group was a bit tense. While the two vampire schools interacted well with each other, Via noticed that her own group kept to themselves. After breakfast, they were escorted to the back of the mansion, where a thick forest stretched out, dark and seeming like something from a horror movie.
