Chapter 86 That's Her Man

• Florence was a beautiful place, at least from the little Via had seen from the airport. But then again, she had hardly paid attention to the scenery, as she was too preoccupied with thoughts of Asher and what to expect from this trip. She was here for him, and she hoped that by the end of this journey, he would officially ask her out.
• The rest of the students were driven to their reserved hotel in a luxury bus, but Via and Jess were exempted and rode with Mr. Dominick in a different car. While most of the students would have assumed the preferential treatment was due to Jess being the principal's side piece, Via suspected this was Asher's doing. Even now, he was treating her so well.
• The hotel they were to stay in was atop their establishment. Two students were assigned to a room, which was luxurious and would have clearly cost a small fortune. This was a display of wealth by Asher. And though Via knew he was supposed to be heir to some wealthy business, she still couldn't help being amazed by how far the vampire was willing to go. Was he really accommodating this many people while spending so much money just to get her here? Did he like her that much?
