Chapter 120 Turn Down

• “What’s this about?” Liz felt nervous being summoned away from the others. Ben hadn’t been in a good mood all morning, and Liz thought it had something to do with Damien. She was feeling tense, like something was going to happen, but she wasn’t sure what. “Did something happen?”
• Damien placed a hand on her shoulder. He was standing behind her, so she couldn’t make out his expression. Though reading him was sometimes an even greater challenge than getting him to actually talk. “Does something need to happen for us to be alone?”
• “These days, yes. You’ve barely even glanced my way.”
