Chapter 72- His anger

• After hanging up the call, Abigail stared into the phone with complete confusion. Xander was like a riddle to her. He talked to her so gently that she almost forgot about the grudge she had with him. He comforted her so well that all her tensions and pain in her heart began to vanish gradually. He was so nice to her, she couldn't find any sign of cruelty. How could such a man be so cunning? She wondered. She didn’t know what Xander’s true nature was. She also did not know why he intended to marry her. Whatever it was, she wouldn’t submit to him easily even if he showered her love and care. She would find out what he was up to. For that, she needed to get closer to Owen Reid to know more about Xander. Initially, she was reluctant to go to country C. But after thinking about it, she was eager to go as soon as possible.
