Chapter 59- The marriage proposal

• The news of Xander’s humiliation at the get-together party of Thompson and Co spread like a wildfire in the entire city. Every news channel was broadcasting it over and over again. This news created so much hype that nobody noticed the news of the death of the goons who killed Charles published in a small column on the middle page of the newspaper. However, Riley saw the news.
• According to the news report, two of the three thugs committed suicide inside the jail. They also left a suicide note in which they stated that they regretted killing Charles and couldn’t live with the guilt. Another one had become mental after witnessing his friends die. The police sent him to the mental asylum.
• This news stunned Riley. He wondered how they could commit suicide inside the jail. He was certain that they had been murdered to cover up the truth. He folded the paper and walked out. He drove directly to Xander’s Seaview penthouse.
