• Owen Reid smiled, but that smile didn’t reach his eyes. There were mixed feelings in his heart. He was happy to see how simple his son was. Bitterness spread within him. But very soon, he changed his mood. His son, the sole heir of this family, had returned. It was the eve of the celebration, and there was no place for sadness. From now on, he wouldn’t let him suffer again. With this thought, he smiled and began to eat.
